Pretty Pictures Version 02.28.10

Will this cold ever end?  I'm quite over the winter this year.  Snowpocalypse.  Snowmageddon.  Thank goodness we managed to escape the Snowrricane, but even the light flurries we got on Saturday night were enough to make me wish for hot DC days.  I know those days are soon to come.  In the meantime, I have The Drums to help me dream of summer.  "Let's Go Surfing," bonitos.

Music Is My Hot, Hot Sess

Time for another Mango Mix!  Annie in Chicago told me last night that these tunes made the fact that she had to work on a Saturday night a little less painful.  Hopefully they brighten up your day, too, mis bonitos.

Pretty Pictures Version 06.05.09

Sorry to have missed you last weekend, Danny B. And to have missed you wearing The District's purple glitter platform boots at the P-Rat. It was good talking to you drunky on the phone, though. Here are some Pretty Pictures for you to make up for it: Bat for Lashes with "Daniel."

Happy Brithday to Ya

Sister Disco! Last night/this morning was a lot of fun. I'm glad I went out and stayed out with you, Timmy, Tisha K., The Jayhawk, and The District. Not so glad with the major overhang/remnant-drunkyness this morning or that I did that birthday shot (even though it was scrumptiously deelishuss [who knew you could make a shot that tastes like sweet tea?]). But glad I got to ring in your new year with you. Good times. Happy birthday, friend.

(And looky who shares your birthday. You in good company, friend.)

Pretty Pictures Version 06.02.09

No comment on today's Pretty Pictures other than that they're pretty darned good. Glasgow does it, again. Sparrow and the Workshop with "Devil Song."
