I love Madrid in the winter mainly because of the stands selling roasted chestnuts on every other corner. Why don't we have that in DC? So, I was glad to see chestnuts at the local Giant but sad because the Jayhawk and I can't have open flames on our balcony to roast the chestnuts in. But maybe I can make this dish (with the suggestion of baking the chestnuts first) and make a yummy winter dinner, onetime.
