So, it's not the end of days on Rico after all. In fact, it's a great day for Rico. Last weekend's quake did little more than rattle a few bones, backwards-path Omar is safely off to sea, and Roberto Clemente's getting his own statue in Cooperstown on November 1!* He's being unveiled along with Lou Gehrig and Jackie Robinson as symbols of character and courage in baseball and life.
