I know this is a day late and a dollar short. I enjoyed yesterday's holiday just like every other good Federal employee in DC, so indulge me for a sec. But I can't think of a more fitting holiday to commemorate with a card than one dedicated to a man responsible for bringing on so much suffering and strife to the "New World." Of course, without a Señor Colón, there would be no Mango as he is known today, so I can't totally hate on CC. Oh, internal conflict! It makes me want to be back in Rico where it's so nice that we actually celebrate La Conquista twice. Too much rum and food and beach to think about all this post-modern, native peoples' justice, feely stuff.

No Hallmark for You!
